Grants and Training

The Hawaii Children’s Trust Fund (HCTF) has provided grants to support parent education and support services, public awareness of child abuse and neglect prevention efforts, and advocacy.  Funds from these grants have been used to support teen parents, incarcerated parents, homeless families, children with developmental delays, adults with mental health issues and their children, families involved with home visiting services, outreach to pregnant teens, and many other services that support children and families.  Funds have also been used to support the development of videos, curriculums, training material, social media, messaging, and other marketing tools about preventing child abuse and neglect.
