Every keiki deserves a safe and supportive home. The Hawaiʻi Community Foundation (HCF) is excited to present a grantmaking opportunity through the Hawaiʻi Childrenʻs Trust Fund (HCTF): the Community Child Abuse & Neglect (CAN) Prevention & Outreach Grant program Request for Proposals (RFP), which is the first of two rounds of grantmaking for the 2022 program year.
This one-year funding program supports local outreach of services, activities, initiatives, and primary prevention programming that aims to prevent maltreatment of children by providing much needed resources to families who may be more vulnerable because of notable barriers to accessing support, such as living in a remote area.
The application deadline for the Community CAN Prevention & Outreach Grant program is October 15, 2021 at 4pm HST. To learn about eligibility and how to apply, please visit the HCF website.
By promoting healthy relationships and environments, thriving and safe communities can be created for Hawaiʻi’s children, and their children to follow.
